Mission Made Jewelry started in 2015 when Ross Marino had a vision of empowering artisans in developing countries. Through the years the focus of MMJ became defined, focusing its efforts on Haiti.

In July of 2020, MMJ was gifted to Haiti Awake. Today, Haiti Awake’s Executive Director, Becky Graves, manages Mission Made Jewelry alongside Haiti Awake, using it as means of economic development for our community.

Our main goal at MMJ is to empower our artisans and create job security. Being a nonprofit means that 100% of all proceeds go back into artisans' salaries and Haiti Awake.

All of our products are handcrafted in Haiti by either our artisans at Haiti Awake or sourced from other companies we trust who share our values. Our Haiti Awake artisans are Hudson, Lorvens, Vladimir, Wesly, and Big. You can find information on them on our blog or staff page.
